CJ Aguillard is putting together the kind of senior season that’s becoming harder for college programs to overlook.

The 2027 Livonia High School receiver now holds five offers — Grambling State, Southern, Nicholls State, Louisiana Christian and Salt Lake Yeti. At midseason, the 5-foot-9, 165-pound playmaker has 465 receiving yards, 598 all-purpose yards and five touchdowns, including a punt-return score. He’s also clocked a 4.37 laser-timed 40.
“My recruitment has really picked up,” Aguillard said. “I’m fortunate to be hearing from and building relationships with several programs and coaches right now.”
What jumps out with Aguillard is how quickly he can stress a defense. He can stack defensive backs vertically, create after the catch and impact the return game. On film, his routes are getting cleaner, he catches the ball naturally and he’s showing more strength after the catch.

“My route-running ability has always been sharp, but throughout this year you can see my routes develop into an elite level,” Aguillard said. “It makes me one of the hardest athletes in Louisiana to guard.”
Aguillard has options, but he’s taking his time.
“There are a few schools that have been recruiting me pretty heavily, but I’m staying open-minded, keeping my options open,” Aguillard said. “I’m focusing on finding the program that’s the best fit for me academically and athletically.”

Aguillard has already taken college visits, with Southern, Houston and South Alabama among the programs he wants to see. He also carries a 3.5 GPA.
And Aguillard knows exactly what he wants college coaches to see.
“I’m a hardworking, physical wide receiver and kick/punt returner who loves making plays,” Aguillard said. “The play is never dead when the ball is in my hands.”
